What makes a house a home?

Using text, collage, found objects and tape I have constructed an installation that resembles a living room. This work reflects on both Australia’s current housing crisis and personal experiences of not having a stable home. Presented is a vision of a comfortable but delicate paper couch, this combined with décor, furnishings and text the space is familiar yet strange.

'Lived in Room' questions the physicality, fragility, and the idea of home, and invites the audience to consider the concept that home is available within each of us anytime.
